Eva Fischer Grunski

Continuing Lecturer

Office Hours

As a foreign language professional, with 15-years’ experience, teaching a variety of grade levels from elementary to undergraduate and graduate students, I have had the benefit of working with a diverse student body that cuts across a variety of ages, abilities, and backgrounds.

Experience has demonstrated that supplemental to a good curriculum is the importance of creating an environment that promotes opportunities for lively engagement in the classroom. In addition to traditional skills honed while pursuing my career on both sides of the Atlantic, I have learned that it requires discipline as well as passion to cultivate and sustain the enthusiasm across the life of the curriculum.

I am always eager to learn about new developments in language teaching and to deepen my knowledge in related fields, Professional Development is very important. As a result, I have been the President of the AATG chapter in San Diego for a few years.
