Samuel Blank

Samuel Blank is a specialist in teaching French as a foreign language, with experience in both classroom and online instruction. Dr. Blank is a certified teacher, online instructor, and examiner of French. He received his Ph.D. in French from University of Maryland. His dissertation was focused on the literature of Swiss-French author Albert Cohen, and teaching French as a foreign language. He is passionate about French language and culture, and loves to incorporate cultural insights in every part of the language learning journey. His courses integrate authentic film, music, and literature from across the French-speaking world. Dr. Blank is also an experienced instructor of English to Speakers of Other Languages. All of his courses prioritize linguistic and cultural proficiency through a communicative and fun approach to language learning.
