Camille Uglow

Camille Uglow specializes in environmental humanities, adaptation, speculative and science fiction, performance studies, cultural studies, and early modern English and French literature and drama. Her current work examines contemporary adaptations of Shakespeare through film, novels, and performance as a valuable means to cultivate community and imagine ecologically just futures amid environmental crisis. Her work has been supported by fellowships funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. She is an editor of UCSD's translation journal Alchemy.
