Sam Cohen is the author of the surreal linked story collection Sarahland. She has taught creative writing at Oberlin College, Chapman University, California State University-Northridge, and the University of Southern California. Her writing and teaching engage speculative fiction, experimental forms, and environmental and queer studies. Her work has been supported by MacDowell and has been translated into French by Burn-Aout.
