Note that the University of California charges regular tuition/fees and nonresident supplemental tuition.
Domestic nonresidents are expected to establish California residency for tuition purposes during their first year in the program to avoid owing supplemental tuition during their second year.
International nonresidents usually are not eligible to establish residency for tuition purposes.
