Information and Communication
MAILBOXES AND INTERNAL COMMUNICATION
You will be assigned a mailbox in the Graduate Student lounge, where you will receive both your U.S. mail and departmental information in the form of memos, newsletters, and announcements.
The Graduate Offices are committed to saving paper. We will communicate with you primarily through e-mail. Please check your e-mail regularly and often so that you can be up-to-date on departmental happenings.
E-MAIL ACCOUNT
UCSD graduate students are provided with a free e-mail account. For information about campus computing accounts, please see "Computing Information for Literature Affiliates."
Please keep the Graduate Information Office, LIT 139, informed of your current e-mail address and check your e-mail frequently and regularly. Be sure that your mailbox has room for incoming messages.
